This is a full-time, on-site role for an Educational Technologist at Vanguard Academy, located in Edinburg, TX. The Educational Technologist will be responsible for integrating technology into classroom settings to enhance learning experiences, developing technology-embedded curriculum, and managing learning management systems. Key tasks include collaborating with educators to design instructional materials, training staff on new educational technologies, and supporting effective use of technology to improve student engagement and achievement.
- Proficiency in Technology Integration and Educational Technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design for creating engaging and effective learning materials
- Knowledge in Learning Management Systems and ability to train staff on their effective use
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting educational technology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and administrative staff
- Relevant certifications in educational technology or instructional design are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
