This role is responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities General Facility Maintenance
- Utilize and follow a master cleaning schedule for all assigned facility areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the plant and surrounding workspaces.
- Perform routine inspections to identify cleaning or maintenance needs.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors, hallways, and stairways.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including:
- Vacuum cleaners
- Floor scrubbers
- Carpet extractors
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts
- Forklifts
- Mix and use cleaning chemicals and solutions according to safety guidelines.
- Dust, wax, and polish office furniture and surfaces.
- Clean shelves, file cabinets, desks, phones, walls, windows, and doors.
- Empty waste receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, floors, and other restroom fixtures.
- Replenish paper products and sanitation supplies.
- Clean and disinfect breakroom surfaces and appliances.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, tables, chairs, windows, and walls.
- Empty trash and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist the maintenance team with minor facility repairs.
- Wash windows, screens, sills, ceilings, and additional surfaces as required.
- Order, organize, and stock cleaning supplies and materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of workplace hazards and follow all safety procedures.
- Complete and retain department-specific training requirements.
- Report safety incidents, concerns, and follow-up actions promptly.
- Comply with all PPE, sanitation, biosecurity, GMP, and state regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete records as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery when required.
- Report and escalate all safety or quality concerns immediately.
- Regularly required to reach, bend, stoop, grasp, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work from elevated platforms.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work in environments exceeding 85°F with high humidity for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Daily exposure to potential allergens, including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience operating and maintaining industrial cleaning equipment.
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior cannabis industry experience is not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid state-issued ID required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required state badging and background clearances for employment within the cannabis industry.
