Compensation:
- Base Salary
$55,000 – $75,000 DOE - Uncapped Commission Structure
($7,500 per property acquired) - Bonus incentives
Average OTE Expected:
$140k-$180k in first year
About the Role:
Our client, a national real estate services provider in the cannabis industry, is seeking a highly motivated
Commercial
Real Estate Acquisition Specialist
to support their growing footprint across emerging cannabis markets nationwide.
The Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and securing real estate properties suitable for cannabis licensing and retail development, with a strong emphasis on untapped or developing markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and pursue off-market and compliant properties in emerging cannabis markets across the U.S. based on data and prospecting data provided by leadership
- Engage in inbound and outbound prospecting to secure new property opportunities
- Work primarily with property sellers and owners
- Collaborate closely with internal licensing and regulatory teams to confirm municipal compliance
- Support negotiations and manage deal flow from prospecting to signed contracts
- Provide insights on national cannabis trends and help shape expansion strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of experience in commercial real estate or property acquisitions
- Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and licensing processes preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong ability to multitask and manage a geographically diverse portfolio
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and industry software tools
