We are seeking an Investment Principal or Senior Associate to help lead investments in private technology companies at the growth-to-pre-IPO stage. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in investment banking, combined with hands-on investing experience at a top-tier growth equity, venture capital, or crossover fund. This role plays a central role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing deals, with significant exposure to firm leadership and meaningful ownership in shaping the strategy.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The position’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
- Identify and evaluate opportunities in mature, venture-backed technology companies with institutional momentum and IPO potential
- Lead due diligence processes, including market research, financial modeling, KPI benchmarking, and management engagement
- Monitor private secondary markets, cap table dynamics, and late-stage funding trends
- Develop and maintain relationships across the ecosystem — founders, investors, bankers, and intermediaries
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee
- Contribute to portfolio strategy, pipeline development, and firm-building initiatives
- 4–7 years of total experience: 2–3 years in investment banking (ideally in technology coverage or M&A), followed by direct investing experience at a growth-stage VC, crossover, or late-stage investment firm
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; confident evaluating large-scale businesses with complex structures
- Exposure to private market deal dynamics and understanding of IPO/exit pathways
- Ability to operate in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with autonomy and ownership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a relationship builder who thrives in collaborative settings
