As an HVAC Engineer, you will be in an environment to learn and grow while designing projects both locally and in the Caribbean. Some of your responsibilities include the following:
- Create HVAC designs under the direction of the senior engineer and perform BIM drafting for a variety of projects to develop understanding of mechanical systems design.
- Ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assignments.
- Knowledge and experience with calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, piping layout and construction documents.
- Attend field visits, meet with clients and vendors.
- General coordination of specific design aspects into a project
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 1 to 4 years of professional experience designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Revit / BIM a big plus
- Communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Background in either science and technology or academic sector is helpful
- Professional commitment to sustainability, LEED accreditation is a plus.
