We're looking for a Document Control Specialist to join our team to support this landmark project at our Boston, MA headquarters (Hybrid schedule - Seaport district - four minute walk from South Station)

Vanderweil Engineers is providing MEP engineering services in support of one of the most significant public health infrastructure projects in the country. The Wadsworth Center, New York State new Life Sciences Public Health Laboratory, is a $1.7 billion, 663,000 square-foot facility currently under construction. The project consolidates five unconnected sites across the Greater Albany area into a single, modern facility designed to strengthen New York's ability to detect, prevent, and respond to emerging public health threats, and is expected to be completed in 2030.

As a Document Control Specialist, you will work in a dynamic team environment supporting multiple engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the document control system for all MEP-related construction administration activities, including submittals, RFIs, ASIs, meeting minutes, and transm
- ittalsTrack submittals and RFIs through review cycles, ensuring timely responses and proper l
- oggingCoordinate with the design-build team (Gilbane | Turner | HOK) and subcontractors to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and properly distr
- ibutedSupport the project manager and field engineers in preparing, issuing, and archiving construction documents.
Requirements:
- 1 years of related experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communicator who can work with engineers, contractors and clients
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Construction management platforms like Procore, Newforma, or similar is a plus
