HR Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Conducting interviews.
- Background checks, and credential verification.
- Managing onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Ensuring staff meet state and federal licensing requirements.
- Keeping up with regulatory changes (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, CMS).
- Tracking certifications and renewal deadlines.
- Promoting a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Managing disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
- Administering employee benefits (health insurance, retirement plans).
- Assisting with leave management (FMLA, sick leave, vacation).
- Coordinating workers compensation and return-to-work programs.
- Conducting employee evaluations and feedback sessions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of nursing home HR experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be available to work full time hours in the nursing home.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Responsible for completing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in excelforce a plus
