Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems, including servicing units with knowledge of HVAC systems and low/high voltage electrical components.
- Use industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated equipment or structures.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of control systems and schematics.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to safety protocols; perform safety inspections regularly.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.
- Support field service activities when required, providing technical assistance on-site at various locations.
- Support service on various welding machines, CNC Laser, CNC Press Brake, Thermoforms, etc
Skills
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control wiring.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Welding skills specific to
welding techniques preferred. - Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including troubleshooting electrical circuits and components.
- Ability to operate industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely; OSHA certification is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with internal teams or external vendors when necessary.
- Effective communication skills in English. Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
