Certified Toyota Technician

Toyota is looking for new talent! Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington, TX is looking for hard working individuals to fill open positions in our service department. We are proud to be a leader in our automotive community serving as one of the largest Toyota Service departments in DFW. We are seeking (Toyota Certified) Experienced Technicians who will provide our customers with exceptional service for around 150 cars per day. Candidates must have knowledge of various makes and models of vehicles so they can better assist our customers. Toyota makes customer service a top priority so candidates must have excellent customer service skills, a positive and friendly attitude and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc…)
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Toyota Certified (required)
• ASE Certification (preferred)
• 2 years of Service Technician experience (preferred)
• Basic Computer skills
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Have a valid Driver s License and clean driving record
• Will submit to a drug and background screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
