Key Functions And Expected Performance
- Contribute to on-going research projects under moderate supervision and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- After an initial training period, work autonomously on your own project to drive the research mission of the lab.
- Know the basics of molecular modeling and is capable of setting up classical molecular dynamics simulations for design rule discovery.
- Order and receive laboratory supplies
- Follow University safety protocols
- Other duties as assigned

Education And Certifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a field of Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, or Chemistry is necessary.
- Prior experience performing laboratory research is necessary.
- Experience with basic molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (PCR, Western blotting, protein expression and purification) is required.
- Experience with classical molecular modeling is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organization is required.
- Ability to work with others in a mutually respectful environment that values honesty, integrity and accountability is necessary.
