What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Dismantling Technician (Sioux Falls, SD) position at Vander Haag's Inc.?
We're looking for Dismantling Technicians who are at the very heart of our used and core parts process!
Working in our shop, each of our techs removes body parts, engine & drivetrain components; inspects parts; and assists with entering parts into our state-of-the-art inventory management system. Occasionally, our techs will also become involved in diagnosis and repair work. We provide on-site training, support, and back-up to help ensure each of our technicians is as successful as possible!
Prior mechanical experience is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training and formal classroom training by our in-house ASE Certified Trainer is provided. Our technicians get paid while they learn! This position pays a competitive hourly wage.
Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!
Compensation: Hourly compensation with overtime and additional bonuses available. Total hourly earnings typically range from $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (including bonuses) for qualified candidates. Base hourly compensation is dependent upon experience.
