Parts Sales - Heavy Duty Truck Parts

Vander Haag's is an industry leader in the sale of used, refurbished, and new heavy duty truck and trailer components. Our Truck Parts Sales team is at the center of this process, assisting customers with finding the parts they need to get their truck back on the road! This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at our Spencer, IA, store location.

This position requires:

• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
• Having some mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities of the job include: selling new, used, and rebuilt heavy duty truck parts; assisting walk in customers at the parts counter; working with the service department for parts needed in the shop; taking parts calls by phone; assisting with inventory control; and prospecting and cold calling on potential new customers.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation dependent upon experience level. Typical annual compensation for this position ranges from $65,000/year to $85,000/year. The compensation for this position includes an uncapped commission that is paid monthly.
