What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bordeaux House Apartments Porter position at VandenBerghe Properties?
The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meticulously upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, trash enclosures (power wash when necessary) and other community buildings.
- Removes trash from office areas and apartment community BBQ areas.
- Assists in the preparation of market ready units.
- Assists in the cleaning/turning of available apartments and models.
- Upkeep laundry room facilities.
- Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas to the office.
- Meticulously maintain curb appeal.
- Clean cobwebs from carports, laundry rooms, office, and all building exteriors.
- Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
- Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.
