What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Assistant Manager position at Vancouver Laptop Inc?
eCommerce company selling electronic parts is looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager for our distribution warehouse.
Compensation: $25/hour.
Employment type: full-time (Monday-Friday, 9.30 AM - 6 PM) - 40 hours/week.
No harsh conditions, good work environment (clean, quiet, not a heavy product to handle), however you can expect to be fully occupied during your whole shift.
What we expect from our new employee:
- Ability to show up on time Monday - Friday. Failure to do so will result in shipping delays, which we can not allow, as we have a commitment to our customers to ship their orders the same day.
- No criminal record.
- High school diploma.
- MUST have warehouse job experience.
The essential duties of the position include:
- Pulling products from inventory.
- Packaging products for shipping (making boxes, using tape gun).
- Moving pallets within warehouse using pallet jacks.
- Shipping / Receiving.
- Counting stock and updating inventory system.
- Remove cardboard and garbage and keep your work area and the warehouse clean.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift boxes up to 50lb
- Other related duties
