Vancouver Clinic is seeking an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department in an on-call/per diem capacity. Ideal candidate must be ARDMS registered in OB with a passion in high-risk perinatology, and have full knowledge of the indications, contraindications, and hazards associated with procedures.

Location: Salmon Creek ( 2525 NE 139th St, Vancouver, WA 98686 )

Hiring range starting between $49.79/hour and $62.42/hour, placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Schedule: Varying shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM 8-10 hours per week, typically 1-3 days per week

In This Role You Will

  • Provide diagnostic studies, treatment and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers
  • Assure accuracy of test results, reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques.
  • Have ability to perform variety of OB procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound.
  • ARDMS registered in OB required.
  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred
  • Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus
  • Endovaginal scanning skills required.
  • Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred

Pay Range

$48.81 - $73.22
