Job Summary

Join our dynamic construction team as a CDL Cement Truck Driver (Ready Mix), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality concrete to various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in operating commercial trucks and paving equipment will ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of materials essential for building roads, bridges, and other large-scale structures. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial cement mixer trucks and heavy construction machinery in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols.
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites, ensuring proper placement and handling during pouring and finishing processes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and paving equipment, including screeds, loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and asphalt paving machinery.
• Assist with the operation of paving equipment such as screeds and concrete pumps to achieve precise finishes on various surfaces.
• Support site activities by handling rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete finishing tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and site-specific procedures to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with concrete mixing, pumping, finishing, and asphalt paving processes.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations including DOT standards and construction site safety protocols.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping related to construction projects.
• Prior experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving paving, rebar installation, or concrete forming is highly preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
