Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
- Execute routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
- Perform welding when necessary.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts following manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software is a plus.
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery safely.
- Mechanical knowledge covering engines, transmissions, powertrain components, brakes & suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts. Alignment knowledge is plus.
- Honesty, integrity and Communication skills coupled with a strong sense of pride in workmanship.
- Valid certifications in automotive repair is required. Relevant technical training is advantageous; ongoing learning encouraged.
- Valid driver's license.
