JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring Maintenance Technicians to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and carrying out repairs to keep our production processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to identify and address any potential issues or concerns.
Promptly respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Perform repairs on machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and costs incurred.
Recommend and implement improvements to equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Perform mold changes as needed.
Perform PM work on molds.
Perform machining, milling, and metal fabrication.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably within the plastics industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficient in conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
