Machine Operator (Production/Manufacturing)
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Contract Duration: 12–36 Months
Pay Rate: $13–$18 per hour (W-2)
Responsibilities
- Support plant operations by following the direction of the Lead Technician during pilot plant campaigns.
- Collaborate with plant technicians and campaign managers to resolve process and equipment-related issues.
- Assist the Lead Technician with communicating batch status to chemists, analytical teams, and MAS.
- Complete all required training prior to the due date.
- Participate in daily group meetings (9:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
- Develop proficiency in equipment operation, batch record documentation, and basic calculations.
- Attend PSOR meetings and actively provide input.
- Adhere to all procedures, including proper use of required PPE.
- Report all incidents—including spills, exposures, and minor injuries—to management immediately.
- Perform all duties with safety as the top priority.
Requirements
- High school diploma or associate degree.
- Experience working with GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures.
- Effective troubleshooting skills for equipment and process issues.
