Job Description
- Project Management: Support Project Managers in overseeing public and private commercial construction projects.
- Schedule Management: Assist in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications.
- Estimating: Support estimator with bidding process (take-offs, bid procurement, & bid leveling).
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly on-site construction progress meetings.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety Compliance: Prepare documentation, track progress, and help resolve on-site issues.
- Quality Control: Maintain a polished, client-facing presence on projects.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable traveling to job sites weekly.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with building officials, design team, & clients.
- Eager to learn and grow into a Project Manager role.
- Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good understanding and use of Primavera scheduling software.
