VanAlstine Truck Equipment & Repair, Inc. is a family-owned heavy-duty truck repair, parts, and engine machine shop that has proudly served Michigan's Thumb since 1968.
As our Service Department continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious, motivated individual to join our Parts Department.
This position plays a critical role in supporting our Service Department by working directly with our technicians, sourcing the right parts, and keeping repairs moving efficiently. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be an important part of a growing team.
Heavy-duty truck parts experience is required. We're looking for someone who can immediately step into the role with a solid understanding of parts and help our Service Department from day one. This is not an entry level position.
Responsibilities
- Support our Service Department by ensuring technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs
- Look up, source, and order heavy-duty truck parts
- Work closely with technicians and service manager to keep the jobs moving and on schedule
- Assist customers in person and over the phone
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Help maintain an organized, efficient Parts Department
