Cashier

Job Summary
Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming experience for every customer. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that helps customers complete their purchases efficiently and accurately. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and positive attitude will ensure smooth transactions and foster customer loyalty. As a vital part of our store operations, you’ll also support merchandising efforts, stock shelves, and assist with product demos to enhance the shopping experience.

Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales quickly and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and answering their questions
• Assist with product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation
• Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth checkout process during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Experience in Keno/ Lottery register
• no drugs allowed
