Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role at Van Valer Law Firm, LLP, located in Greenwood, IN. Responsibilities include providing legal counsel, managing cases across multiple legal disciplines such as estate planning, business law, and civil litigation, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings or negotiations. The Associate will also work collaboratively with team members to deliver tailored solutions to clients' legal needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills related to various areas of law, including estate planning, business law, and litigation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for client interaction and legal representation
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to the Indiana State Bar
- Previous experience in any or all focus areas of the firm is a plus
