LJP Waste Solutions and Van's Sanitation, leading Environmental Solutions Provider, is seeking a full-time Fleet Technician to perform a variety of duties related to the maintenance of our fleet. The ideal candidate will need to have experience and solid technical knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment, and perform repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Inspect and repair diesel engines, suspension, clutches, Allison transmissions, drivetrain, hydraulic systems, steering systems, fuel system, electrical, HVAC, and air brake systems
- Performs assigned work duties
- Properly diagnose driver complaint with unit
- Root cause part component failures
- Maintains a clean and professional work environment including tools, and equipment
- MN Inspection Certified (Preferred, but willing to obtain)
- Welding as needed
- Must have tools to perform job duties
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 am - 6:00 pm)
Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: In person
- Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Required)
- Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Required)
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
