What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping / Heavy Duty Cleaners position at Van Rensselaer Manor Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility?
We are looking for Heavy Duty Cleaning Tech / Housekeepers to take care of our facility and perform maintenance duties as assigned by our Environmental Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Prefer experienced cleaner, but will train candidates with a good work ethic
- Perform and document routine maintenance activities
- Carry out cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday, rotating weekends
Skills
- Have a positive attitude and want to work
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery; able to lift up to 100 pounds
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Rensselaer County resident preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.22 per hour
