What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of Nursing Training position at Van Rensselaer Manor Skilled Nursing Facility?
Responsible for planning, implementing and assessing a comprehensive in-service training program for Registered Professional Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants. In conjunction with the facility’s Director of Nursing, prepares and coordinates mandatory and other designated in-service training for non-nursing staff. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing with considerable leeway given for the exercise of independent judgement in planning courses and determining instructional methods. Assists the Nursing Supervisors and Quality Assurance Nurse in providing continuous auditing of all staff to assure compliance to Van Rensselaer Manor’s policies and procedures. Obtains and cares for instructional aids. Participates in facility committees, using problem solving techniques. A Coordinator of Nursing Training also does related work as required.
Pay: From $96,475.00 per year

Experience:
