Your Responsibilities:
- Working in conjunction with the service department to look up required parts for jobs in the shop
- Helping service advisors and technicians by creating parts estimates
- Receiving, pulling and billing parts
- Creating orders within the Mopar ordering system
- Placing orders and creating purchase orders for outside vendors
- Working with customers over the phone and in house with over counter sales.
- Assist parts manager in maintaining a clean and efficient parts inventory
- Order parts as needed to keep the parts inventory at the correct level
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with all vendors
- Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when determining defective parts
- Maintain accurate accounting record for purchased and/or returned parts
- Stock in all incoming parts and reconcile parts invoice and actual parts received
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous automotive experience is preferred
- Previous parts experienced is preferred
- Computer knowledge is a plus
