1. Warehouse Manager
a. Responsibilities
i. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staff.
b. Job Description
i. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
ii. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
iii. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
iv. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
v. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
vi. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
vii. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
viii. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
ix. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
x. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
xi. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
xii. Ensures with the help of the General Manager that all SOP’s are being followed for Food Safety.
C. Shift Hours
i. It is a day shift position; however, hours vary based on warehouse needs.
Summary
As a Cold Storage Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of our cold storage facilities, ensuring optimal inventory management and supply chain processes. Reporting to the Operations Director, your core responsibilities will include supervising staff, managing logistics, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and transportation management will drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. With a focus on profitability and demand planning, you will play a vital role in meeting our organizational goals while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
