What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIG/TIG Welder position at Van Fab?
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday
- Overtime sometimes mandatory on Fridays and Saturdays
- Pay starting at $19.00/hour - pay determined by experience
- Days: 5:00am - 3:30pm
- Nights 3:30pm-2:00am
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Need to be safety conscious.
- Oral and written communications skills.
- Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned.
- Must have interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Must be capable in working in non-climate-controlled environment.
- Knowledge of quality and safe work procedures.
Skills
- MIG and TIG Welding Experience required for welders.
- Ability to carry out simple instructions.
- Ability to carry out assignments/tasks assigned.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
- Ability to use provided power tools and production equipment.
- Ability to perform quality checks throughout the process.
- Ideal candidate will show persistence, punctuality, and determination.
