Van Etten Artisans, Inc., an artisan woodworking shop specializing in custom cabinetry and fine furniture, is seeking an Entry-Level Cabinet / Furniture Maker to join our team. Position Summary
The Entry-Level Cabinet / Furniture Maker will assist in the construction, assembly, preparation, and installation of custom cabinetry and furniture according to project specifications and shop drawings. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the trade.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Build and assemble cabinet and furniture components
- Sand and prepare pieces for finishing to ensure a smooth, polished surface
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and related components
- Assist with on-site cabinet and furniture installation as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and techniques preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations accurately
- Some experience with woodworking, cabinetmaking, furniture making, or related trades is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license required
Schedule and Benefits
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays and overtime available

Compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Location Requirement
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to, or relocate to, Perkasie, PA 18944 before starting work.
