Dietary Supervisor

We are hiring for a Dietary Supervisors to join our team! As one of our Dietary Supervisors you will be directly responsible for overseeing the team responsible for the service and execution of daily meals along with the cleaning and sanitations associated with the meal service. We are currently hiring experienced Dietary Supervisors for our Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing location.

Duties:

• Supervises and monitors a team of 15 staff members ensuring compliance with all company and DOH policies.
• Monitors and delegates all staff jobs and duties to ensure they are being done properly and in accordance with company expectations.
• Work directly with staff to make sure that all meals start on time and operate smoothly throughout the meal services.
• Assist staff in the cleaning of dishes, pots/pans, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Perform other job-related tasks as they are assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 years of healthcare foodservice experience or 3-5 years banquet/catering foodservice experience
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, families, clients, and other personnel in a public setting
• ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to help and support dietary department operations
