We are currently hiring experienced Dietary Supervisors for our Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing location.
Duties:
- Supervises and monitors a team of 15 staff members ensuring compliance with all company and DOH policies.
- Monitors and delegates all staff jobs and duties to ensure they are being done properly and in accordance with company expectations.
- Work directly with staff to make sure that all meals start on time and operate smoothly throughout the meal services.
- Assist staff in the cleaning of dishes, pots/pans, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Perform other job-related tasks as they are assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years of healthcare foodservice experience or 3-5 years banquet/catering foodservice experience
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, families, clients, and other personnel in a public setting
- ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to help and support dietary department operations
