What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Maintenance position at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in directing and overseeing all aspects of maintenance of the facility and grounds
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Maintain accurate records for all services performed and contracts
- Walk the property daily to uphold curb appeal and monitor safety issue
- Schedule and coordinate room turns, including assistance with resident move out and apartment renovations
- Snow removal during winter months, lawn care during warmer months
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have GED or high school diploma.
- 2 years prior experience in maintenance, supervisory role.
- Must have knowledge of trades such as electrical, plumbing, floor repair, wall repair and painting.
- Refrigeration, small motor and boiler experience is a plus.
- Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushi
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
