What you’ll lead
- Build and develop international supplier partnerships and competitive bid events (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) from end‑to‑end.
- Translate market intel, quotes, and TCO analyses into clear recommendations that win buy‑in across Quality, Finance, Product Line, Sales, and Legal.
- Shape category strategies that improve resiliency, sustainability, and value—then partner seamlessly with Procurement Execution & Delivery to make them real.
What success looks like (9–12 months)
- Strong stakeholder rapport and visible influence in our matrix structure.
- A pipeline of tangible sourcing opportunities with clear trade‑offs and decisions.
- Smooth hand‑offs from strategy to execution; early wins that set the tone.
What you bring
- 5 years in strategic sourcing/category management (food ingredients, CPG procurement, pharma/medical devices, automotive or similarly regulated/quality‑intensive spaces).
- Proven RFx leadership, supplier development, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation.
- Analytical strength (spend, risk, cost drivers/TCO); strategic thinking; comfort with ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; CSCP, CPSM, CIPS or similar preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP, Microsoft 365, and collaborative tools.
- Expected Pay Range: $110K-$135K, exempt
- Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.
