Job Purpose
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction through the pulling/picking/shipping/piling of finished ambient goods. This motivated individual will be in a role that will affect all reaches within the VDF/FC organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities Include
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary Responsibilities Include
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
- Organize paperwork (i.e. pick tickets, shipping manifests, shipping labels)
- Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift and ERP scanners
- Pull product per pick ticket
- Pile items within the warehouse as directed
- Daily receipt and loading of product to/from Straight-trucks, Tractor-trailers or overseas containers
- Cycle counting/on demand inventory counting
- Clean up of the warehouse area
- Responsible for the proper receipt, pulling, piling and organization of finished goods
- Ship product out via preferred carrier (UPS/FedEx/common) for all customer routed finished goods
- Additional duties as required

- Ability to follow instructions set forth from daily requests
- Developed listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Organizational and detail skills.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Must be a problem-solver with the ability to use good judge
- Experience within shipment portals
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Experience with ERP/WMS
- Basic Computer skills

- Expected Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.33
- Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.
