? Associate degree, 60 college credits, or successful completion of the ETS ParaPro Assessment preferred or required in accordance with state and district guidelines.

Position Summary :
The K–8 Paraprofessional supports the classroom teacher in creating a positive and productive
learning environment for all students. This position assists with instructional activities, small-
group and individual student support, supervision duties, and classroom organization within a
multi-age, one-room schoolhouse setting.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a multi-age learning environment and supporting
students across a wide range of grade levels, abilities, and learning needs. Flexibility,
collaboration, and a student-centered mindset are essential, as the paraprofessional will work
closely with the classroom teacher to support academic, social, and behavioral growth for all
learners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Support the classroom teacher in delivering instruction across all content areas.
? Provide small-group and individual instruction, intervention, and practice activities as directed by the teacher.
? Assist students during independent work time by providing encouragement, clarification, and academic support.
? Monitor student engagement and behavior while promoting a positive learning environment.
? Supervise students in the classroom, on the playground, during lunch, and during other
school activities as assigned.
? Assist with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and maintenance of learning spaces.
? Support students; development of organizational, study, and problem-solving skills.
? Help implement classroom routines and behavior expectations consistently.
? Maintain accurate records and documentation as directed by the teacher or administrator.
? Collaborate with school staff to support student success and well-being.
? Follow all district policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
