Business Office Manager - Nursing Home
The Business Office Manager position requires customer service, computer literacy, bookkeeping, data entry, insurance verification and preauthorization, some human resources, and the ability to work independently. Duties include:
- Verify Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance and Prior Authorization
- Use PointClickCare for Resident Census and Billing Setup
- Administer the Resident Trust Fund and all bookkeeping for it
- Provide backup and fill-in for the HR Assistant
- Help with Admission Paperwork for Residents
- Help families file Medicaid and do detailed follow up
This is a professional position that requires constant interaction with our Residents and their Families as well as staff. The Office Manager is a Department Head and participates in Quality Assurance and Daily Operations meetings.
There are constant interruptions, but this is a job that combines office skills with a caring heart. This is why the ability to work with minimum supervision is a must.
Van Buren Health and Rehab offers a 401(k) with matching funds for up to 2% of payroll to all Full Time staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
