What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Van Buren Community Mental Health?
Registered Nurse needed to join our Medication Clinic team in Paw Paw, MI, just 20 minutes west of Kalamazoo. The RN will review, monitor & administer medications and medication-related activities and ensure Med Clinic customers receive monitoring of response to psychiatric medications. Will help Medication Assisted Treatment(MAT) clinic customers navigate and access community services, adopt healthy behaviors, and improve health outcomes. Identifies and links customers with medical resources in the area, makes appropriate referrals, coordinates services, and provides follow up with customers.
Candidates must possess licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing as it relates to working with individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders. Must be able to use an Electronic Medical Record for customer documentation.
Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm.
