Job Description

Responsible, motivated, detail-oriented person needed to perform

janitorial/housekeeping duties in our climate controlled manufacturing

facility. Duties include thorough cleaning of offices, break room,

restrooms, and manufacturing area. Hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Mon -

Thurs with the opportunity for overtime on Friday. Experience is

preferred and the qualified candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Position Overview:

The primary responsibilities of a Custodian/Janitor are to maintain a

clean facility and work environment, providing the highest standards of

cleanliness and excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of building including equipment, floors and walls
• Clean, sanitize, disinfect and maintain break room and all office
  
  

areas

• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools
  
  

and phones

• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Dust furniture and fixtures in entry commons area
• Empty trash, recycling bins and chip hoppers
• Wash and clean windows inside and outside of building
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior building and property, may include
  
  

leaf removal, trash removal and weed control

• Operate various equipment which may include floor scrubbers,
  
  

forklifts, lawn mowers, weed eaters and leaf blowers

• Perform various cleaning projects as assigned
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
• Skills:
• Safety first mindset
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning
  
  

and sanitizing solutions

• Self starter, must be able to work independently
• Must possess good listening and comprehension skills for
  
  

Supervisory directions

• Detail-oriented and thorough
