Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Paint Production Supervisor to oversee our Paint & Powder Coat Operation on both day and night shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for the Paint & Powder Coat Operation on both day and night shifts.
- Ensure quality standards are met for painted and powder-coated products.
- Monitor workflow, adjust staffing as needed, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maximize performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain and enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
- Track production metrics, report performance data, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of painting and powder coating equipment.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment.
- Strong background in paint and powder coating operations.
- Experience with production scheduling, quality control, and process improvement.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial paint and powder coating applications.

Physical Demands
