Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver floral goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency, balancing speed with safety and customer satisfaction
- Handle lifting of packages and merchandise (up to 10lbs), ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a positive attitude
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records using organizational skills
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues on the route
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Prior route driving experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Physical ability to perform moderate lifting and perform repetitive movements throughout the day
- Military background or training in disciplined operations can be advantageous for safety-focused roles
