Now hiring for summer positions for PERDIDO KEY food truck. Serious applicants only please. Join the Vampire Penguin team, creating delicious shaved snow desserts. We have part time positions available (afternoons and evenings including Saturdays and Sundays) at our Perdido Key location. Whether you are passionate about serving up sweet treats or keeping penguin vibes alive, we'll find the right fit for you. We are looking for friendly, energetic and reliable individuals to join our team. As a snow-tender, you will be responsible for creating delicious and refreshing shaved snow treats in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Evenings, weekends and holidays are our busiest times.
Responsibilities
- Positive attitude and good communication
- Provide prompt, friendly service
- Operate shaved ice machine and maintain cleanliness of equipment
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, using point of sale system
- Execute opening and closing duties, including cleaning of equipment and restocking supplies
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25#
- Previous food service or customer service experience desired.
- Must have reliable transportation
