Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by removing trash, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks and facilities maintenance to support overall building operations
- Support porter responsibilities by moving furniture, delivering supplies, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures
- Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently during shift hours
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift
