Job Title: Counter Sales Associate
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift, Full Time)
Pay Rate: $20.05 Hourly (Minimum Starting Rate) Performance Incentives

A Day in the Life of a Counter Sales Associate:
- Providing exceptional service to customers at the counter and over the phone through accurate order entry
- Increasing sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional as well as new products
- Working cooperatively with other team members, such as coordinating deliveries with drivers, pulling customer orders, helping replenish inventory and pulling transfers in the warehouse, and other branch operations as needed
- Following ethical standards and complying with company policies that ensure as safe, friendly, and team-oriented family culture
Required Skills:
- Computer literacy. Ability to use Microsoft Office, as well as proficiency in order entry processes using our Epicor Solar Eclipse system, VAMAC's intranet, or other systems as applicable
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms (i.e. in-person, phone, email, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team; ability to multitask
- Ability to stand and walk for long duration, as well as lift up to 100 pounds
- 1 years experience within the industry is preferred (sales, plumbing, order entry)
Preferred Skills:
- Industry related experience
- Previous experience using an RF Gun
- Current forklift certification, where required
