Role Overview

The Service Technician is responsible for executing the hands-on work that keeps vehicles running safely and efficiently. This role operates primarily in the lower bay and under the hood, supporting the team through consistent, high-quality execution. You’ll be expected to stay focused, work efficiently, and contribute to a strong, reliable team environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and tire rotations
• Work in the pit and under the hood daily
• Complete safety checks and basic vehicle inspections
• Replace batteries, filters, lights, and wipers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate with upper bay and team members to keep workflow moving
• Interact with customers as needed in a professional, respectful manner

Experience & Requirements

• Technician experience is a plus, not required
• Paid training provided for all experience levels
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends
• Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
• Must be located near the job site

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work. VALVOLINE cares about the health and safety of our Associates. Pay & Benefits

• $40,000 starting (approx. $16–$20/hr DOE bonus potential)
