Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Identify necessary repairs and maintenance
• Perform thorough inspections, repairs and maintenance of guest vehicles
• Effectively communicate with guests and Service Advisors to provide quotes for recommended work
• Perform services efficiently and according to manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
• Successfully complete all required training on time
• Record all hours worked accurately in company time-keeping system
• Follow safeguards rules and regulations
• Demonstrate the Company’s core values
• Comply with Company policies and procedures
• Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties

• Monday to Saturday; 1 day off during the week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) along with Sunday

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Technician
• ASE certifications
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license

· Must have own tools;

• General diagnostic skills with suspensions and drivelines
• Electrical diagnostic skills involving can bus communications (I feel like this might be a typo, but I don’t know how to fix)
• The ability to use Alldata / Pro demand information systems
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams
• Removal of engines and transmissions
• Welding (tig/mig)
• Differential repair
• Ability to troubleshoot, adapt and solve problematic situations
• A4 Alignment Certification
