Requirements
- High school diploma required; vocational or technical training preferred
- Industrial electrical experience and certifications preferred
- Must have controls experience
- 5 years in industrial manufacturing (ideally high-speed environments like food or consumer goods)
- Familiar with liquid filling systems, conveyors, 120v/480v equipment, and Maintenance Connect
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Logix 500, Studio 5000, PLC 5, Versa Views, Vega Gauges, RSView, Siemens PCS7, and WinCC
- Able to walk, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, gauges, and control systems
- Work on conveyors, palletizers, filling and packaging equipment
- Perform mechanical and electrical tasks as assigned
- Support contractors with permits and task direction
- Complete preventive maintenance on various equipment
- Respond to after-hours call-outs and troubleshoot tank level systems
- Install piping and tubing (screwed, flanged, compression fittings)
- Operate and maintain hot oil heaters, air compressors, and fire pumps
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Perform other duties as assigned by Valvoline
