Duties
- Lead and supervise the service center team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff performance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Oversee daily store operations such as inventory management, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Manage scheduling shifts to optimize coverage during peak hours and ensure smooth workflow across all departments
- Develop and implement strategies for merchandising, pricing, marketing initiatives, and sales promotions to boost revenue and customer engagement
- Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing training programs to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business
- Monitor store metrics including retail math (sales calculations), inventory control, budgeting, and sales management to meet or exceed targets
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or service center environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and POS systems
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual or multilingual settings; fluency in additional languages is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales management, shift management, merchandising, stock control, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is desirable but not mandatory
- Proficiency in retail math calculations such as sales tracking and inventory valuation along with strong organizational skills
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team development; experience in assistant manager roles or supervisory positions preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain high standards of phone etiquette and customer service
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
