Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on vehicles, ensuring all services are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire rotations and inspections.
- Assist customers with their vehicle service needs, providing knowledgeable recommendations based on diagnostics and observations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document services performed on each vehicle accurately in the system for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on automotive technologies and service techniques to provide the best possible care for customers' vehicles.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service or as a mechanic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to vehicle maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Experience with tire service is a plus, along with familiarity with dealership environments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive diagnostics or related fields are advantageous.
