Position Overview: Construction Field Manager will oversee flooring and finish installation projects for Regional builders and home owners. The role focuses on ensuring top-quality flooring craftsmanship throughout the new home construction process, from pre-installation planning to punch list completion, all while maintaining excellent communication with site superintendents, internal teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Manage Flooring Installations: Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs to assess job sites, verify correct flooring materials, and plan installation schedules. Oversee and supervise the flooring installation team to ensure standards are met, and work is completed efficiently.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Perform post-installation inspections to confirm flooring quality, identify potential issues, and ensure punch list items are addressed promptly.
- Punch List Management: Collaborate with site superintendents and internal teams to create and resolve punch lists, focusing on flooring and finish-related items before the homeowner takes possession.
- Material Coordination: Ensure the availability and timely delivery of flooring materials and accessories needed for each project. Coordinate with suppliers and internal logistics to prevent delays.
- On-Site Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for flooring aspects, working closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and the installation team to address issues swiftly.
- Repair & Touch-Ups: Complete minor repairs, touch-ups, and adjustments to flooring finishes as needed to meet quality standards.
- Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution: Address homeowner concerns related to flooring and finishes, communicating effectively to resolve issues and escalate when necessary to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records of installation progress, punch list status, and any repairs to facilitate smooth project closeout.
- Meetings & Collaboration: Represent the company at jobsite meetings, providing updates on flooring progress, quality, and completion status.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment on all job sites.
Additional Notes:
- Experience with flooring products (hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, luxury vinyl, etc.) and familiarity with installation standards is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between home builders, subcontractors, internal teams, and homeowners.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
