Pharmacist (Full-time)

ValueRx Pharmacy Services is an independently owned Long Term Care Pharmacy in Middletown, CT, servicing 11 owner-related local Nursing Facilities. ```Responsibilities```

• Ensure all necessary information is present to process orders accurately
• Check all incoming orders for appropriateness of medication for stated diagnosis
• Perform all other clinical checks as appropriate
• Contact physician, health care worker, as needed
• Provide clinical counseling to physicians, health care workers, on proper medication therapy
• Check all filled orders for accuracy prior to delivery
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation

```Qualifications / Preferences```

• Attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Scheduling Flexibility
• Prior LTC Pharmacy experience (Plus!)
• Strong IV Experience (Preference)
• USP 797 Compliance Guideline knowledge (Preference)
• Experience with FrameworkLTC (Preference)
